Free SIM Cards and Mobile Devices, No Strings Attached

SimpalUK provides free six-month pre-paid SIM cards with 20GB or more of data per month, and mobile devices where possible, to anyone facing digital poverty — whether that’s caused by a life-threatening illness, recovering from addiction, fleeing domestic abuse, or serious financial hardship.

What You Get

A free, pre-paid SIM card loaded with 20GB or more of data every month for six months. Where we are able to, we also provide a mobile handset for people with no access to a device at all.

There is no cost to you at any point. SimpalUK is funded entirely by donations and run entirely by volunteers.

Who Can Apply

You don’t need a diagnosis to qualify. If you’re cut off from the people and services you need — because of illness, addiction recovery, domestic abuse, financial hardship, or anything else — you can apply directly, anywhere in the United Kingdom. There is no means testing and no waiting list.

Healthcare professionals, social workers, and support organisations can also refer a client on their behalf through our dedicated referrer pathway.
